The Pangborn Sensory Science Symposium is a 4 -5 days biannual academic conference that focuses on sensory and consumer science. The event usually takes place at different countries every time and was scheduled to take place at Vancouver, Canada but it is going to be online due to the effect of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The sensory lab will present 4 posters namely;

The program usually commands about 800 – 1000 participants and consist of oral presentations, keynote lectures, interactive lectures, interactive workshops and poster sections. Renowned researchers like Ann-Marie Torregrossa (University of Buffalo, USA) and Mukani Moyo (International Potato Center, Kenya) and Mei Peng (University of Otago, New Zealand) have been enlisted as keynote speakers for this year’s event. The Pangborn Sensory Science Symposium is operated by Elsevier and supported by the journal of Food Quality and Preference. The 13th Edition of the symposium had staff from the lab present some of our research works. Visit our publications page to browse through some of these reports, posters and articles.
